sterling silver spoon Fort Scott Kansas

Description

Found this spoon left behind in a barn
I dont know the history or age
I chose not to polish it that is up to you
There is a small dimple on it seen in photos
In the spoon are the words "FORT SCOTT KANS" "S KEARNEY'S HEADQUARTERS"
Under "HEADQUARTERS" looks like a date 18??
There is the # 4 on the handle
On the back of the handle is "STERLING" and "To Frances"
