    BETH KELLOGG WILLIAMS, W. K. Kellogg's DAUGHTER wrote an inscription and SIGNED on the front fly-leaf.   It is inscribed "To our friends Jessie and Archie Murton."
    After research on-line I believe this to inscribed to
    Jessie Wilmore Murton ( 1886-1973 ) and
    John Archibald Murton (1886-1966).   Both were a
    ctive members of the Battle Creek Seventh Day Adventist Church.  Jessie was a noted writer and poet and she was also employed at various times as a proofreader, receptionist, filing clerk and private secretary in medical offices of the Battle Creek Sanitarium.
    Condition:  Front fly-leaf has small, top corner fold, otherwise pages are crisp and clean.
    Cover has light wear.   No dust jacket.
    No smells.  Non-smoking home.
