Rare Konica FT-1
MOTOR
(
1982) Improved Version of the  First MOTOR-WIND 35 camera. Serial No. 212445.
With Superb Konica Hexanon f:1.4 57mm. "Rare Earth" Optical glasses for High Resolution  Fully Color Corrected Lens). Serial No.4715183.
Electronically Controlled All Metal Copal Focal Plane Shutter with speeds from 2 seonds . to 1/1,000 sec., B. and C.  = Continuous 2 Frames per Second) plus a "self-timer".
Considered by many collectors to be the Best  Konica Electronic camera.
The FT-1 is powered by four readily available inexpensive AAA batteries
that fit conveniently into the grip on the right front side.
The ASA setting dial is around the rewind film knob and there is also a convenient  over/under exposure control.
The "Reflex Image" has a central Rangefinder with Outstanding Brightness
and easy focusing and Performs exceptionally indoors or at night even in very subdued lighting.
I purchased the camera
in Japan new in the 1980's and used it for a short time then stored it correctly.
The beautiful Hexanon lens has
no scratches, cleaning marks or fungus. There is almost no internal dust.
I am confident ir will produce incredible images.
The Shutter works at all speeds is
Very accurate.
The camera body has no dents or dings or scratches. There are  some light scratches and  bright marks on the base and a few small rub marks on the black paint on the  upper and lower left side. Apart from these there are  only the lightest signs of age and handling.
The Superb Black grained covering is complete and is still in Very Close to New condition.

The Satin and Bright
Chrome plating still looks new.
Internally there are only the very slightest signs the camera has ever been used with film ( I did test it with a roll of film and the mechanism works perfectly!! ).
The Image in the Viewfinder is clear,Very Bright  and focusing is smooth and  accurate. There are a few specks of dust on the ground glass.
The camera back opens and closes correctly

The Konica FT-1 motor is a Truly "Historic" camera. It is no larger or heavier than an non motorized SLR. It weighs only 1 pound 5.8 ounces without the lens 1 pound 1.15 ounces with the Hexanon f:1.4 lens.
I should mention that the Hexanon lens focuses from 1.5 Feet to inf. Great for "close-ups".
There is no "hidden reserve" and my asking price is commesurate with the cameras Superb Condition.
