Description

A new Paperblanks journal, featuring the Gold Inlay design, in the 7” x 9” ultra size with an expanded page count of 240 lined pages.  Gold Inlay is a faithful recreation of a popular 19th century German design.  Its closure is metal clasps, originally used in Coptic bindings on leather-covered books of the Middle Ages.  Book edge printing (shown in the 2nd photo), an often overlooked element in bookmaking today, was also popular during the medieval period.

This journal is not composed of real gold or any other metal (except for the metal clasp).
“Gold Inlay” is the name the Paperblanks Company has given this design.
It merely means a design with the look of inlay is atop a gold-colored background.
This journal will be shipped Priority Mail,
not
media mail.
