INDIAN NAVAJO STYLE SWASTIKA FRED HARVEY STERLING SILVER PENDANT SOUVENIR SPOON

Description

This is a beautiful and adorable Navajo style sterling silver tourist spoon made into pendant dating most likely to Fred Harvey Era (Circa 1910) and is made to appear as old Indian hand crafted spoon made by Indian silversmiths. Indian silversmith used American or Mexican silver coins. In the bowl it features punched decorations around, inside a swastika (good luck sign of Indians) on top, below two crossed arrows and a bow. Swastika was good luck Indian symbol and also referred as wheeling logs.
Nothing to do with later swastika associated with the German Nazis.
It is made to look like early punched Navajo design and hand hammered, cut, chiseled and filed condition is rudimentary as expected without breaks or repairs. Typically these types of spoons were made as souvenirs from states such as New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Texas or California. It measures 2-1/2" (63 mm) in length and in excellent used and vintage condition. Shipping on multiple purchases are gladly combined.
