Description
I bought this handmade journal in 2004 in the Caribbean from a local artisan. As you can see, I started to make and entry on April 1, but that's as far as I got. There are 40 pages in the notebook. The notebook is removable so you can replace it.
The cover is woven palm fronds and coconut husk. The button is coconut. The inside is lined
with
papyrus. The left side has a pocket made of palm tree bark. The notebook paper is papyrus. The pages are smooth on the front and textured on the back. The pen does not write. The barrel is wooden with a printed veneer. The "clicker" is decorative only. It and clip are wooden.
Measures 9" x 8" x 1-1/2". Minimal wear to the cover from moving multiple times.
