Amp guru Dave Friedman put 27 years of pedalboard-building experience into the Friedman Tour Pro 1530 Platinum Pack pedalboard. This rugged two-tier pedalboard features a flat surface on the bottom tier and a slanted surface for the second tier, and guitarists at Sweetwater really like how this arrangement feels. Friedman's Buffer Bay 6 sounds completely transparent while eliminating the tone loss caused by long cable runs. Part of what makes Dave Friedman's designs so famous is their ability to stay completely out of your tone's way when necessary. This buffer is a great example. And for players who want nothing at all between their effects and amp, just push the buffer button and you'll enjoy signal routing with no added signal processing. And that's not all it does — the Buffer Bay 6 allows you to configure your pedalboard rig more efficiently, cleaning up your cable runs and allowing for tighter pedal placement. And because you can leave your pedal chain permanently connected, setup and teardown is much faster. Oh, and it has a MIDI through. Yes, it's that simple!
