    Description

Everest VIT CA-Zoom PTZ Camera Remote Control Unit
This auction is for an Everest VIT CA-Zoom PTZ Camera Remote Control Unit.
As this auction begins, I have (3) of these, as pictured. Each purchase is for (1) unit, not all three together. If you're interested in more than one, I'd offer you a nice deal. Buyer's choice of which one they want from what is available.
Two main frames are model V4400-2500, and one is PTZ-V. Both types look physically the same, except the V4400s have text generator modules installed, while the PTZ does not. Each has a CA-Zoom PTZ-IV Control Head installed, one with a Ricoh color video monitor attached.
Please read description completely so you understand exactly what you're buying.
Former nuclear power plant property, functional units when removed from service, according to verbal description and property tags applied by the seller. Those tags, before I removed them for cleanup, are shown in last three pictures if you scroll through the listing, with pertinent info highlighted purple. All pieces have been thoroughly cleaned & detailed with detergent and toothbrush and are about as nice now physically as they're ever going to get. All three frames power up fine with 3 green lights, and each control head with monitor attached was tested with each mainframe, and all seem to be operating correctly when swapped between any unit, in that the monitor & panel lights come on and keys control the pad lighting. Pendant connection between frame & remote is with a standard RJ-45 ethernet cable, one is included with each unit. Video output can be viewed through an external monitor and sent to a recorder through the jacks on back. I can't find much info online for these, but I believe they're the immediate predecessors to the current CA-Zoom 6.2 system, before GE acquired Everest. Don't know what model cameras they were designed to be used with exactly, but camera jacks are the same size, keyway, and 19-pin configuration as the 6.2 system frame, so I'd guess that they should probably work with 6.2 cameras like the PTZ-70 or PTZ-100, but no promises or guarantees in that regard. I have no compatible camera to check everything completely, so untested other than described and sold "as is" beyond that. No idea of the market value or potential interest in these, so have just listed them at a price that's hopefully fair, but I'm more than willing to consider offers. Pictures are of actual items being sold, many additional photos beyond those in slideshow if you scroll down. External monitor not included. Fast shipping, quality packed, insured, and online trackable.
Thanks for looking and for bidding! Items normally ship the next day, two at most, after payment is received. I pack things right, feedback mentions that frequently. All items are insured to full value and trackable online.
I return all feedback received, sometimes it takes me a few days, but it will happen. Items are described as accurately as possible and if said to be tested and working, then please be assured that is true. If sold "as is", buyer assumes all risk of any untested problem that may be present, with all sales final. I will NEVER auction something with known issues, without mentioning it in the listing, but I buy lots of equipment and sometimes acquire pieces that I either have no expertise to test, or don't have equipment on hand required to perform testing, so in those situations items are sold "as is". Auctions are always "what you see & read is what you get", so if something is not shown in photos or described in text, such as cables, power cords, software, etc., it's probably not included. I'll be happy to answer questions you may have, just please ask before, not after bidding. Sometimes UPS listed shipping will be substituted with FedEx and vice-versa, depending on your location and fastest transit time available.
