This is a reproduction civil war Virginia Vols 1st Regiment brass belt buckle with authentic period reproduction back. It was made in the 1980s by Hanover Brass in Hanover, Va.
3" wide x 2.25" tall. Weighs 3.2 oz.
Please see detailed photos. There are spots that may be removed with polishing. Also some minor scratches/discoloration. Back has been cleaned but some patina remains. Stamped with GW hallmark.
