Charming Vintage Volland Style Raggedy Ann Cloth Doll

Here is a very appealing vintage Volland style Raggedy Ann doll. She measures 21" from head to toe. I have never seen another quite like her so am unsure whether she is mother made or manufactured. I tend to think she is not home made...her hair and the embroidered detailing on her face and her heart are just to well done.  She is made with a combination of machine and hand sewing, the fabric choices suggest to me the 40s, but a collector will know. She wears a slip and matching pantaloons under a print dress that closes with snaps. Given her age she has a little bit of soiling on her face, but not much. She has been carefully packed away, there are no holes, smells or stains.
