. The material is a hybrid of carbon fiber and Kevlar. This fabric has a width of 6" , tow size of 3k carbon and 1140 Kevlar. Woven in a plain weave. This material was woven by reputable weavers across the US, and their long lasting presence in the composite industry will ensure you receive a quality material. This material gives you the high strength capabilities with the impact resistance of Kevlar. Thickness .010"
To harden the raw fabric into a usable form, you will need the appropriate epoxies or resins for your project. For the colored materials, we suggest one of our resins which cure clear.
We take care in shipping our items and we will never fold the fabric. Our fabric is always rolled to prevent distortion of the weave.
This item is listed by the linear yard, which is 36" long by the 6" width. If you purchase a qty of 2, you will receive one continuous piece of fabric 72"x6" and so on. We will leave the fabric in one continuous piece.
