  • Condition: Shows typical wear from use and storage, including light surface marks and scratches. Only 2 are personally monogrammed, one with a Gothlic letter A on the top of the handle, and another with the year 1907 on the back of the bowl. They have been gently hand polished and ultrasonic cleaned in a mild dish soap, and they have nice shine and are very clean. They are straight, not bent, with no major issues at all. An amazing, very collectible lot!

    ANTIQUE EARLY 1900s ERA, LOT OF 10, ALL MIXED USA MAKER,
    STERLING SILVER 925,
    BRIGHT CUT / ETCHED BOWL,
    ALL MIXED TOWN / CITY SOUVENIR SPOONS
    FROM THE STATE OF MINNESOTA, USA
    FIVE MEASURE 5" LONG, FOUR MEASURE 5-1/2" LONG,
    ONE MEASURES 5-3/4" LONG,
    TOTAL WEIGHT OF ALL TEN (10) IS 167.0 GRAMS
    Shows typical wear from use and storage, including light surface marks and scratches.  Only 2 are personally monogrammed, one with a Gothlic letter A on the top of the handle, and another with the year 1907 on the back of the bowl.  They have been gently hand polished and ultrasonic cleaned in a mild dish soap, and they have nice shine and are very clean.  They are straight, not bent, with no major issues at all.
    All of these are from the state of Minnesota and are fully bright cut / hand engraved with names on the inside of the bowls.  City and town names include
    3 from International Falls,
    2 from Bemidji, and 1 each from
    Minneapolis, Northfield,
    Owatonna, Grand Rapids, and Coleraine.  Examples of these engravings can be seen in the one group photo.
    Three of these are full souvenir spoons with designs on the handles, while the remaining seven are from typical maker flatware patterns of the era.  Eight of these have gold washed bowls.  All are hallmarked on the back STERLING, along with their USA makers marks.  Maker names include 5 by The Baker-Manchester Co., 2 by
    Gorham Silver, 2 by Mechanics Sterling Co., and 1 by Paye & Baker Mfg. Co.  Examples of these hallmarks can be seen in the one group photo.
    This entire, very amazing and unique collection came to us together, so we feel it is important to keep them together!  A great lot for those from Minnesota or for those that collect souvenir spoons!  Add it to your collection, a display or a historical archive today!
