Don't settle for painted plywood! These are made much like your speaker cabinets or amplifier cabinets.
These look GREAT and are built to last. Designed for easy and clean wiring with just a little planning on your part.
The new mini or nano effects size is great.  The effects I have are all very nice sounding and tend to cost less than the larger standard size effects.
As you can see in the pictures, this smaller pedal board will accommodate either size or a combination. I am personally using two of this size (one for the front end pedals and the other for the effects loop pedals).

Five wiring access grommets installed

Capacity: Two rows of five (5) Nano / mini effects OR Two rows of three (3) standard size effects Or combinations thereof. (See pictures)
This board is ready for you to populate with your effects. Hook and Loop Tape, Power Supply, and 1/4" connectors are NOT included.
We recommend using the heavy duty or industrial hook and loop tape (available elsewhere) to secure your pedals to the board.
We recommend using the OneSpot (or equivalent) power supply in combination with the jumpers (available elsewhere) to provide power to all of the effects you place on the board.
Jumpers (1/4" male ended cables and/or male/male hard jacks) to connect the effects
(available elsewhere) to one another vary depending on what effects you put on the board.
