1970 RENAULT 10 SEDAN Lot of (3) Genuine Vintage Ads ~ ,725 ~ FREE SHIPPING!
1970 Renault 10 Sedan original vintage advertisements. Lot of (3) ads.
    DESCRIPTION:
The horse is better than most 1970 cars.
We are not joking. The run-of-the-mill 1970 car is an affront to progress.
It’s too expensive to buy. And too expensive to run.
It’s almost impossible to park,, and maneuvering it through city traffic would try the
    nerves of a saint.
You’d be better off with a horse.
Which is sure-footed, inexpensive, maneuverable and it eats hay. Nice, cheap, hay.
We, at Renault, are one of the few automakers to make a car that’s better than the horse.
    The Renault 10.
Since it gets 35 miles to the gallon, it is cheap to run.
And since it has independent suspension and disc brakes, it is sure-footed and easy to stop.
And since it is maneuverable, it is easy to park.
And since it costs ,725, it is easy to buy.
And it is also more comfortable than the horse.
    RENAULT
    If a car doesn

t have to be an extension of your manhood.
Either you have it or you don’t.
    No amount of bulging chrome,
5 or 6 on the floor, or overhead cams has ever turned a milksop into Attila the Hun.
The Renault 10 is for men who don’t need a crutch. It is, simply and stubbornly, an intelligent well-made automobile.
It delivers a very efficient 35 miles a gallon. Does 0 to 60 in 18.6 seconds, and has a top speed of 85 mph. Enough for anybody who isn’t
trying to prove something. It’s also got disc brakes on all four wheels to protect you from guys who are.
Besides, it even out-handles and out-corners a lot of fancy-price fantasy wagons.
Our price is a mere 25*
But for another 50 bucks you can get bucket seats that fold down into a bed.
In case you’d like to extend your manhood in a slightly more meaningful fashion.
    RENAULT
    25 mpg is lousy mileage.
    We, at Renault, are ANGRY.
We have heard other cars bragging about their mileage.
And though we have fumed inwardly, up until now we have remained silent.
But yesterday, we heard a car maker bragging about 22 miles per gallon. And that is the last straw!
22 miles per gallon, indeed. That’s like a mouse bragging about its size.
    22 miles per gallon. Incredible!
Look. Our Renault 10 gets better mileage than any other car in its class. To be precise, it can get 35 miles to each and every gallon of gas.
When we designed the Renault 10, we paid attention to one, self-evident maxim: ANY MONEY POURED INTO A GAS TANK IS GONE FOREVER.
In fact, we would like to get better than 35 mpg, but our engineers tell us that it is not possible.
Not without sacrificing our comfort or reliability or handling or speed.
For ,725* we have a pleasant little car. That gets 35 mpg.
And we are happy with it.
But when we read that someone has the gall to say that 22 miles per gallon is good mileage ©/☆*# ® ☆/
