COMPANY INFO
J. M BUCHEIMER Co, one of the older names in the holster and leather goods industry, started business back in 1884.  They originally dealt in the equestrian market, and made one mean bull whip.
They were one of the earliest "mass" producers, and in regards to leather holsters and other products, they put out quality goods that
saw the nation thru 2 World Wars.  They held military contracts and were sought after for police equipment as well.  This was a family owned
business, founded by John M. Bucheimer who passed away in 1953.   His son George Richard Bucheimer, then stepped up and shortly afterwards moved the operations from Towson , Maryland to Frederick, MD.
Richard Bucheimer with Al Kippen created the first and Thumbsnap holsters in the late 1950's (that's before John Bianchi)
In 1959 the Bucheimer company aquired CLARK HOLSTER on the West Coast - Becoming Bucheimer-Clark out of  California, while remaining J M Bucheimer company in the East out of Frederick.
These were two separately run companies, with two different product lines, yet also tied together in management and creative styles and ideas.
All these changes and mergers, plus the bi-coastal companies, plays H*ll trying to make heads or tails of their catalog reference numbers, which seem to change almost every other year.
Fast Forward to the 1970's, when Bucheimer-Clark on the west coast became a subsidiary of Tandy, and then ceased business after Charles Tandy's death in 1978.  Bucheimer continued in the East until Georges brother,  John Jr passed in 1984, ending and real semblence of the original company and Bucheimer company faded away shortly after, thus finishing a century of innovation and classic craftsmanship under the JM Bucheimer name.

Made from wet molded leather, this is model
14C -- "INSIDE TROUSER HOLSTER"
.  Heavy weight leather forms a pocket that keeps its shape and makes the draw faster and reholstering a one hand,easy to do function.   The molding makes this holster a bit more model specific that general cut suede rigs and heavy stitched seams with rounded and slicked edges make for a professional finish and go easy on the clothing (and body)
A tough cowhide pad supports a WIDE chromed spring steel clip. This is an OPEN MUZZLE holster

The clip is notched and positively locks onto your belt, up to 1.5" wide, so you don't get a face full of holster when you draw.  The holster can be worn with or without a belt as you can clip it to you hem, boot, car visor, kilt or whatever.

You can wear this holster as a strong side draw, front waistband, behind the hip or wherever you find it most comfortable. The muzzle is open.
THIS IS A RIGHT HAND INSIDE WAISTBAND DRAW
However the wide clip will allow you to clip the holster outside the belt for a LEFT HAND DRAW if you so desire.
